Abstract : Federal Aviation Administration personnel are frequently involved in the resolution of interference complaints. The skillful use of measurement equipment can be essential to the successful resolution of such complaints. This report provides a summary of the spectrum measurement techniques applicable to Federal Aviation Administration facilities using the radio frequency spectrum. It is oriented toward electromagnetic compatibility measurements made by frequency management engineers but is of interest to anyone involved in radio frequency measurements. (Author)
