Abstract : The sources of errors associated with measuring the radiation pattern of space-deployable radar antenna are examined. The specifications for the Space-Based Radar require a lightweight, fragile antenna with a large aperture and low sidelobes. These three requirements place severe constraints on both the testing environment and the measurement equipment. Applicable sources of errors were presented for both farfield and nearfield measurement techniques. (Author)
