Abstract : This study assessed the extent of knowledge decay during the interval between graduation from Basic Electricity and Electronics (BE/E) School and entry into a Construction Electrician (CE) 'A' School. The results indicated that BE/E knowledge does decay and that the amount of decay is related to student ability characteristics. Decay had no apparent affect on subsequent 'A' School achievement.
