Abstract : The purpose of this study is to compare in human subjects the sensibility to cold water of teeth having amalgam restorations with ideal zinc phosphate cement bases with amalgam restorations having no bases. The significance of the research will be to establish the clinical effectiveness of bases of 'ideal' depth under amalgam restorations as a protection against a cold stimulus.
