Abstract : Expatriates in Turkey were interviewed about success, selection, training, compensation, and expectations-satisfaction-adjustment. Success of an expatriate is defined as effective performance of the assignment, personal satisfaction, and adjustment to local conditions. Some important determinants of expatriate success are identified and a model is proposed. (Author)
