Abstract : Non-Gaussian signal detection problems are treated in the context of same-shape families of non-homogeneous Poisson processes. The ratio of mean functions of two processes in such a family is a constant. Five different signal detection problems and five different sampling protocols are considered. Optimal procedures based on minimal sufficient statistics are developed. (Author)
