Abstract : An environmental analysis was accomplished to determine the impacts of deactivating the Titan-II Missile System. The document studied three phases of the action: deactivation of missile sites; transportation of components to destination sites; and disposition of components at destination sites. Deactivation of support functions were studied in an ancillary phase. The analysis supported a finding that the deactivation would have little or not effect on the biophysical environment and minor impact on the socioeconomic environment. (Author)
