Abstract : Electron attachment data for dissociative electron attachment are reported for several species in the ground electronic state as well as after laser excitation. The experimental apparatus used consisted in a Gruenberg type drift cell fitted with windows for cathode illumination and laser excitation of a volume oriented parallel to the electrodes forming the gap. The time dependent electron swarm population was monitored as a transient voltage as a function of various swarm parameters and laser irradiation conditions.
