Abstract : The flow around submerged bodies at different attitudes evokes considerable interest in the field of hydrodynamics. Such flow fields occur in many and varied applications. Of particular interest is the flow field around a submarine, torpedo, or similar body in maneuver. The computation of this flow field is important to the analysis of performance and noise characteristics of the device.
