Abstract : This report summarizes the development of a structured interview protocol and supportive materials for use in employment interviews with apprentice program applicants. The research identified five key dimensions in the retention of shipyard apprentices that form the core of the Structured Interview Guide, Navy Apprentice Locator (SIGNAL).
