Abstract : This study investigated how the U.S. Air Force may be able to establish a more effective control over the management of environment quality, and human health and safety programs. The premise for this study was that consolidating Environmental Planning, Bioenvironmental Engineering, and Base Safety into a single Resource Protection organization may achieve a more effective control over the management of these programs. This study was conducted to determine how these organizations could be consolidated in terms of organizational structure, functional responsibilities, and what effect the reorganization might have on the management of the programs.
