Abstract : The Air Force's proposed Integrated Maintenance Information System (IMIS) will make it possible for maintenance personnel to access several automated maintenance information systems to be integrated by the IMIS include the Automated Technical Order System (ATOS), the Core Automated Maintenance System (CAMS), supply systems, and computer-based training systems. Work is currently being accomplished in several areas to provide the basis for defining requirements for the IMIS. In the present investigation, potential training applications of the IMIS were examined. An analysis was made of base-level training requirements, and scenarios were developed to demonstrate how IMIS could be used to provide the required training.
