Abstract : The effect of ionization doses up to 30 Mrad on air was measured by IR absorption and ionization induced transient conductivity. Short lived IR absorption bands were introduced, but none are directly associated with known stable species. No significant effect on the electron attachment rate was detected. Keywords: Ionization, Air chemistry, Spectra, Infrared.
