Abstract : This technical note describes microwave landing system (MLS) mathematical modeling performed for runway 22L, Midway Airport, Chicago, Illinois. This study considered multipath and shadowing effects of buildings and aircraft. Results are provided as plots showing the multipath levels and separation angles and error plots showing the resultant errors.
