Abstract : SIMMIN is a minicomputer program capable of finding a minimum for any function which can be described using Fortran. A simplex method determines values of coefficients which result in a function local minimum. This document briefly describes the methodology and algorithm originally written by Caceci and Cacheris and modified by Holloman and Otto. It also provides a user's guide for use of the Fortran code (which is included), complete with example cases. Conversion to larger computers is straightforward.
