Abstract : The Analysis and Evaluation Group (WRDC/AAAI-4) has been tasked with integrating the Integrated Communication, Navigation, Identification Avionics (ICNIA) system into the Integrated Electromagnetic System Simulator (IESS) facility and performing Test and Evaluation (T&E) on the ICNIA system. This responsibility has led to the need to examine IESS post run analysis techniques to determine areas that may need enhancement. DECALC and DECGRAPH are Digital Equipment Corporation (DEC) software products that produce accurate graphical representations of data through an integrated spreadsheet/graphics package very similar to the PC-based LOTUS program. This memorandum describes the use of DECALC/DECGRAPH in performing post run analysis of data produced from IESS scenarios. A FORTRAN program is also described which has been written to reformat post run text data from the IESS. This reformatted data output is easier to read and can be imported directly into DECALC and graphed using DECGRAPH. IESS produces a dynamic electromagnetic environment consisting of complex Radio Frequency (RF) waveforms in the sMhz - 5Ghz frequency range that closely simulates the environment which occurs during actual flight.
