Abstract : As part of a programme to determine inspection intervals for the stiffener runout regions of the upper plates of the wing pivot fittings of RAAF F-111 aircraft, the possible influence on crack growth of stores carried and of low and negative g-spectrum loading has been examined for reconnaissance aircraft, the remaining F-111 fleet and for aircraft A8-148. Derived gust loading spectra for the same F-111 groups have also been determined. F-111C wing pivot fittings, Fatigue crack growth, Exceedences, Gust loads, F-111C aircraft.
