Abstract : In this letter we present the results of XPS experiments carried out on untreated and ammonia plasma-treated aramid and ECPE fibres after exposure to DGEBA-Br. We also discuss, in the context of our own findings, aramid/epoxy and ECPE/epoxy interfacial adhesion results obtained by other researchers.
