Abstract : Eglin Air Force Base is the largest forested military reservation in the free world consisting of approximately 464,000 acres in northwest Florida. It is within Santa Rosa, Okaloosa, and Walton Counties; The Command structure of Air Force natural resources programs is divided into three levels: Headquarters, Major Command, and Installation; Headquarters United States Air Force, located in Washington D.C., is responsible for setting broad policy by formulating regulations and approving annual budget submittals.
