Abstract : The purpose of this analysis is to delineate the manpower, person raining (MPT) issues associated with Force Provider (FP) and to report the findings to the Directorate of Combat Developments and to the U.S. Army Natick Research, Development, and Engineering Center for inclusion in the FP MANPRINT Assessment for the Milestone III decision Review. MPT issues were identified by reviewing relevant operational documents, interviewing military personnel operating FP during the operational test, and analyzing the collected data. Overall, FP was successful at accomplishing its intended mission. Major MPT issues that surfaced as a result of this assessment include the following: (1) Either more personnel should be provided or the goal of completing set-up in 120 hours should be adjusted. (2) Operations over an extended period, (2 weeks or more) will require additional personnel in 4 of the 6 sections all except the HQ Section and the POL Section. (3) The FP platoon should have the same living conditions as the soldiers they support, be located on the same site and be allowed to utilize the facilities and services. (4) No requirement exists for two NCOs in the Water Distribution Section or the POL Section. No requirement exists for plumbers 51K . There is a requirement for an interior electrician (51R).
