Abstract : In May 1994, the Fort Knox Assistant Staff Archeologist conducted a Phase I archaeological survey of a proposed water tower tract (approximately 0.21 ha or 0.51 acres) and of a proposed pipeline corridor 2960 m long and 3 m wide (0.88 ha or 2.17 acres) on the Fort Knox Military Reservation, Hardin County, Kentucky. The survey resulted in the discovery of no archaeological materials or deposits. It is recommended that the water tower and pipeline be constructed as proposed.
