Abstract : This report explores the need for re-utilization of concrete waste materials in contrast to disposal by landfilling. Potential applications for the beneficial and cost-effective re-utilization of waste concrete materials are presented. Factors affecting the feasibility of re-utilization of concrete waste materials are discussed. Reduction of construction project costs and minimization of environmental impact can be realized as the result of removing concrete waste materials from the solid waste stream.
