Abstract : The goal of this research program was to elucidate the hot electron physics of ACTFEL devices with particular emphasis on: (1) hot electron transport, (2) defect state hot electron sourcing and trapping, and (3) hot electron-induced ACTFEL aging. Highlights of our research accomplishments are summarized in terms of these three topical categories.
