Abstract : A Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) was developed for Robins AFB, GA (RAFB) to improve water quality by reducing the potential for pollutants contained in its storm water discharges. Implementation of the procedures discussed in the SWPPP for managing and monitoring storm water will minimize the potential for release of contaminants to the environment and protect human health. The SWPPP is designed to comply with the following Federal and State legislation and regulations: Federal regulation 40 CFR 122.26 establishes procedures for the discharge of storm waters from industrial and municipal facilities to waters of the United States. Regulation 40 CFR 122.26 requires development of a SWPPP as a requirement for the storm water discharge permitting process. Georgia Water Quality Control Act.
