Abstract : A summary of the 2nd Japan-US Symposium on Finite Element Methods in Large Scale Computational Fluid Dynamics, conducted Mar. 14-16, 1994 at Chuo University in Tokyo, Japan is presented. Abstracts of all symposium presentations are included. This report is based upon information collected via symposium attendance, review of the symposium proceedings, and a post symposium conversation with Professor Mutsuto Kawahara, Department of Civil Engineering, Chuo University, who served as the Japanese co-chair of the symposium organizing committee.
