Abstract : Glenda is an environment for parallel processing which is modeled after the Linda language and utilizes the PVM software system to provide underlying communications. The resulting software maintains the friendly parallel programming, typical of Linda, and the PVM efficiency in message-passing operations. This document describes the functions, data structure, and algorithms of the Glenda software architecture.
