Abstract : The purpose of this study is to determine whether an absorption-type power cycle using a mixture of ammonia and water as the working fluid, in a system such as that illustrated in Figure 1 of this Summary, would afford higher thermal efficiencies than those obtainable from a comparable steam power cycle, such as that shown in Figure 2. jg p.6
