Abstract : This case study analyzes the role of operational art in irregular actions directed against American/South Vietnamese forces during the early months of 1968. Initiated to coincide with the celebration of the Lunar New Year of the monkey or tet, it is considered by most historical accounts as the turning point of the Vietnam War.
