Abstract : A unique concept for UWB radar operation is presented. Advantages of the postulated concept are described. An innovative, computationally efficient signal processing technique utilizing wavelet transforms that has been developed by TSC is discussed. An example is presented in which actual UWB data that has been interpolated to simulate a high-PRF waveform is processed to validate the concept. A demonstration concept for the postulated UwB modulation is proposed.
