Abstract : Measurement of the coefficient of thermal expansion (CTE) of the crystalline lattice of two semicrystalline thermoplastic polyimides are reported. NEW-TPI and LARC-CPI polyimides were studied using high temperature wide angle X-ray scattering from 25C up to 325C. Systematic shifts in the a-, and b-axis lattice parameters were seen. No c-axis expansion was detected. jg p.1
