Abstract : A number of studies have examined the intelligence and personality of pilots. Few, however, have been able to utilize long term follow-up data. Three-hundred and fifty Air Force officers undergoing Undergraduate Pilot Training were administered the Multidimensional Aptitude Battery, the Personality Research Form, and the Million Clinical Multiaxial Inventory. Ten year follow-up data is provided on pilot training completion and length of service. No differences were found among the training completions groups but a number of consistent personality variables were correlated with length of service.
