Abstract : Data from a series of field weapons effects tests are analyzed for their applicability to protective structure design procedures. Microcomputer-based single-degree-of-freedom dynamic analysis models and a mainframe nonlinear finite element analysis model are used to analyze numerical models of the field test structures. The computer models are evaluated for their effectiveness and applicability to protective structure design.
