Abstract : This Report documents our research in two areas of Electric Propulsion: (a) A preliminary study of the performance of cesium seeded hydrogen arcjets, which showed a feasible design range in which frozen losses can be nearly eliminated, and (b) A particle simulation numerical model of Hall thrusters, which can give both, fairly accurate overall performance predictions, and also detailed information about internal parameter distributions.
