Abstract : Fortran computer programs have been written that will determine the geodesic paths on an on an arbitrary surface of revolution. The programs can also determine the number of circuits of the geodesics necessary to produce a wrap of a specified thickness. This thickness can be for one geodesic or be the cumulative buildup of many geodesics. Once the geodesic paths are determined, thickness profile and helix angle plots are produced. In addition, routines are available for plotting the geodesic paths on the developed surface giving a two dimensional picture of the paths on the surface.
