Abstract : Davis Hyperbaric Laboratory, Brooks AFB TX requested Aeromedical Research to design and develop a 50 psi oxygen delivery system that could be used to transport decompression sickness patients aboard C-21 Learjets. With the help of an independant manufacturer's air ambulance life support unit having the required oxygen capacity could an interface oxygen system be built. Aeromedical Research staff members within the Systems Research Branch, considers the unit acceptable for use in the aeromedical evacuation environment.
