Abstract : It is projected that, within the next few years, China will launch its first natural resource satellite (ZY-l satellite). Satellite and ground reception as well as data processing application systems also follow it, beginning preparations for construction. Satellite data preprocessing is an important subsystem in ground application systems. Preprocessing technology is basically weak in China. Beginning the development of research associated with preprocessing geometrical correction algorithms for ZY-1 satellite products is very necessary.
