Abstract : A neutrally stable two-dimensional mesh moving procedure is proposed. This procedure can be easily implemented in a two-dimensional problem domain for which a natural set of coordinates exist. Theoretical issues such as existence, uniqueness, stability, etc., are discussed. Examples are presented illustrating the two dimensional mesh movement's attributes of stability and controllability.
