Abstract : This report presents a compilation of mechanical property data that are useful for damage tolerant design and analyses. The data of this handbook combines the old data that were previously presented in MCIC-HB-OIR (Damage Tolerant Design Handbook, December 1983) and more recent data that were collected from various sources The fracture toughness, crack growth, R-curve, sustain load and threshold data are for alloy and stainless steels, nickel based super alloys, titanium alloys and aluminum alloys.
