Abstract : The purpose of this study is to ascertain whether it is cost beneficial for MACH to sell excess elective surgical services to Noble Army Community Hospital, Fort McClellen, Alabama, and Lyster Army Community Hospital, Fort Rucker, Alabama. An analytical and quantitative methodology was used to evaluate the cost effectiveness of the proposal. The results indicated that all of the surgical procedures analyzed were cost beneficial to sell to NACH and LACH.
