Abstract : Semiconducting polymer heterostructures exhibiting quantum confinement effects were recently prepared in our laboratory by a self assembly approach. Photoluminescence and photoluminescence excitation spectroscopies as well as electric field induced photoluminescence quenching have been used here to probe the effects of exciton confinement in the self assembled semiconducting polymer quantum well nanostructures.
