Abstract : The Institute for Scientific Research (ISR) of Boston College was contracted by the Space Physics Division (GPS) of the Phillips Laboratory (PL) Geophysics Directorate to perform research in the area of Space Particle Modeling and Effects. A number of computer models and simulations were developed by use of the data from various spacecraft including the Combined Release and Radiation Effects Satellite (CRRES), Defense Meteorological Satellite Program (DMSP), and Advanced Photovoltaic and Electronics Experiment (APEX).
