Abstract : In order to mitigate the adverse effects of barracks construction on archeological site 34-Cm-232 at Fort Sill, archeological excavations were undertaken at the site in order to recover information that remained at the site concerning the late 19th century Kiowa and Comanche Indian Agency Commissaries. A number of artifacts and features related to the commissaries were recovered and documented as a result of the excavations.
