Abstract : This and subsequent chapters of the manual describe in more detail the procedures involved in preparing the noise study for AICUZ purposes. Information is also provided concerning certain optional data which may be simultaneously generated and which may be useful for planning purposes outside the basic AICUZ objective. Specifically, Chapter 2 describes the data collection procedures and completion of the AICUZ Data Sheets. Chapter 3 outlines the use of the BASEOPS computer program (available through AFCESA/DMPO) which should be run locally by the Base Planner to input flying operations and maintenance data. Chapter 4 describes the various forms of output available from NOISEMAP, the computer program used to predict noise impacts from base operations.
