Abstract : We incorporated the CONWEP blast model into DYNA2D and DYNA3D. It works as expected and appears to be adequate for modeling problems such as vehicle response to land mines. The model accounts for the angle of incidence of the blast wave, but it does not account for shadowing by intervening objects or for confinement effects. This report provides FORTRAN listings and directions for incorporating the model in DYNA2D, DYNA3D, and associated preprocessors and postprocessors and suggests changes to the user manuals.
