Abstract : A nationwide banding program for mourning doves (Zenaida macroura) was conducted cooperatively by State wildlife agencies and the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service during 1967-1975. Banding and recovery records, as well as data from annual call-count and harvest surveys for the seven States that compose the Western Management Unit (WMU), were analyzed by a subcommittee of the Western Migratory Upland Game Bird Technical Committee.
