Abstract : In simulations, short external cavity laser diodes have shown to produce high frequency oscillations (>20Hz). This paper presents theoretical and simulated dynamics for such types of laser systems. The high frequency oscillations are a result of self twin mode locking. It will be shown the critical feedback parameters and the frequencies of self twin-mode locking oscillations in these regimes of high frequency microwave oscillations are possible.
