Abstract : The United States Air Force consists of over 500,000 Military and civilian workers performing diverse jobs and tasks at multiple installations around the world. A typical installation has hundreds of administrative and industrial work areas of various sizes. In industrial work areas, workers perform maintenance/inspection jobs where exposure often vary on a daily basis. This report descrines a methodology which allow technicians with minimal ergonomics training to help focus and prioritize population based ergonomic improvement efforts in an efficient and standardized manner. Results of pilot testing for reproducibility, sensitivity, validity, and practicality are also included.
