Abstract : This report describes file results of a pilot test to assess the reliability, sensitivity, validity, and practicality of the Level I Ergonomics Assessment Methodology Guide for Administrative Work Areas. Overall, the pilot test provided evidence to indicate that the developed Level I Methodology assists technicians in arriving at similar solutions as would be selected by an ergonomist for administrative tasks. There was substantial agreement between technicians and the Gold Standard ergonomist for 91% of the job scenarios selected. The corrective actions selected by the technicians agreed with the solutions selected by a consensus of ergonomists 63% to 77% of the time. The job factors selected by technicians agreed with ergonomists 67% of the time.
