Abstract : A program to perform coordinated research employing complementary electro-optical techniques to characterize optical and physical properties of the atmosphere are described in this report. Emphasis was on upgrading and operating the CO2 wind sensing lidar, upgrading and operating the Nd:YAG backscatter lidar, on working with the multichannel transmissometer, and on upgrading the MAPM system.
