Abstract : The objectives of this research project are to reduce and analyze aeromechanical test data obtained from full scale engine tests at AEDC, to investigate the causes for excessive vibration response of the front frame struts of the F110-GE-129 high performance turbofan engine, and to develop analytical and/or empirical models for predicting the conditions under which such high responses occur.
